Meet the Team
Oh wow, you actually visited this page...
Well, welcome! Believe it or not, we're actually a fairly small team but we are real people driven by turning ordinary occasions into lasting memories. Allow us to introduce ourselves:

Tyler Simmons
CEO & Office Ping Pong Champ
I grew up playing sports, building bike jumps and backyard games with my friends—then turning it all into highlight videos we thought were legendary.
Twenty years later, not much has changed—now I get to do it professionally as the CEO of Elevate Sports. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me wake surfing, golfing, Coaching Lacrosse, exploring new places or watching movies.
Favorite Movie: Every Adam Sandler Movie made

Jenny Simmons
Chief People, Culture & Community Officer & Finance
Growing up, my older brother Tyler (now our CEO) and I always talked about running a business together. As kids, it involved owning a ranch with animals and outdoor toys because nothing beat playing outside with our dog in tow. Here we are years later, still with kid-like spirits, building fun, competitive backyard games for everyone to enjoy.
When I'm not working, you can find me adventuring out with my dog Oakley, spending time in Tahoe with family & friends, or watching the next binge worthy tv show.
Fun Fact: I danced for 5 years and I repeatedly watched every mainstream dance movie that came out in the early-mid 2000s. I event tried to learn some of the basic moves on my own. I still love dancing today and you’ll often find me on the dance floor.

Scott Palmer
COO
Eleven years as Spikeball’s first employee and acting COO taught me how to scale a global backyard game brand—while moonlighting as a local LEO to stay grounded in community service.
Now I’m proud to serve as President & COO of Elevate Sports, collaborating on lawn-to-legends experiences with an incredible team and bringing brands like BucketGolf to life.
When I’m not wrangling four kids, you’ll find me taking a morning dip in my bitterly frigid, cold plunge, geeking out over precision-engineered gear, or charting my next off-road rig adventure.
I also love firing up an open-fire Argentine-style asado—harnessing my inner grill maestro to serve up perfectly charred, mouthwatering cuts. Even in my 40s, I’m secretly plotting a surprise Olympic debut (two-person luge or bobsled, anyone?) and training for the Keg-Throwing Games—because every dad needs a fun dream.

Justin Nonato
Director of Operations
I run operations at Elevate Sports, where I specialize in turning chaos into streamlined systems and transforming big ideas into actionable results. My mantra? Ask for forgiveness, not permission — because sometimes the fastest way forward is a little boldness paired with a lot of hustle.
Whether I’m fine-tuning workflows, fueling team morale, or tackling problems before they become problems, I’m all about making sure things not only get done, but get done right. When I’m not strategizing or optimizing, you’ll find me coaching baseball, deadlifting the day’s stress, or unwinding with a beachside drink that’s almost definitely stronger than it looks. I thrive on movement—both in the office and out—and bring the same energy to every challenge, every game, and every moment.
As they say in Wedding Crashers: “Rule #76: No excuses, play like a champion!”

Dallas Broekhuizen
Marketing Manager
I started working with Tyler on the Elevate Sports Equipment side back in 2018 as a freelance graphic designer, and what began as a creative passion project turned into a full-blown career. During that time I had the privilege of designing a lot of the branding and packaging for the first iterations of BucketGolf. After going back to school to earn my Master’s in Marketing, I officially joined the team full-time in 2023.
These days, I spend most of my time creating campaigns, obsessing over analytics, and dreaming up big ideas with an awesome team. Outside of work, I’m usually on a hike, behind a camera, playing lacrosse, working out or testing out new products in the backyard.
Fun Fact: I’m a dual citizen of the U.S. and Poland—and yes, I’ll always cheer for both teams during the World Cup.

Skyler Boles
Director of Play
I love sports. I love games. I love bringing people together. My sports equipment and backyard games collection could keep a group of 50 occupied for hours on end.
If I am not playing something, you can find me hanging with my puppy dog Westley (like from "The Princess Bride"), listening to live music slangin' fresh Sky High Salsa at the local farmer's market.

Killian Brait
I keep Bucketgolf’s supply chain humming - forecasting demand, wrangling inventory, and making sure the right SKUs land in the right warehouse at the right time. By day I’m Bucketgolf's resident data-nerd-turned-logistics-strategist; by night (and most weekends) I’m clinging to a granite face somewhere in the Sierra, or some plastic holds in a local gym.
A Marin native and Cal Poly SLO computer-science grad, I blend code with commerce: creating purchase-order pipelines, turning raw data into real-time dashboards, and translating 52-week forecasts into just-in-time container loads that keep costs low—and customers happy. Off the clock you’ll find me chalk-handed at the climbing gym, or debating Steph Curry’s GOAT status while watching him hit a logo three. I speak conversational German, collect playing cards, and—on rare occasions—shoot scratch in Bucketgolf (traditional golf, not so much).
Whether I’m optimizing SKUs or scouting the next summit, I bring the same mix of curiosity, grit, and good humor - because smooth supply chains and epic ascents both start with a solid plan and the willingness to improvise when the route gets spicy

Griffon English
Customer Relations
Originally from Marin and now holding it down in San Francisco, Griffon is the friendly force behind Bucket Golf’s customer service—responding to your questions with the patience of a saint and the charm of someone who’s had just enough coffee.
In his free time, he stays active playing basketball, tennis, and golf (he’s not great at that last one, but at least the clubs look cool). He’s all about live music, beach days, outdoor adventures, and good times with friends and family.Basically, if you need help with your Bucket Golf order or want to know which band to see this weekend, Griffon’s your guy. Just don’t ask him to read a green.

The very first staff of Elevate and BucketGolf overseas, specifically from the Pearl of the Orient Seas, the Philippines! 🇵🇭 I've been working for Elevate and Tyler since 2021. WOW! Then, Jenny came and the rest of the gang. I can say that Elevate and BucketGolf have gone far beyond what I experienced when I joined. Love the team!As one of the frontline customer representatives for most B2B and occasionally B2C communications, I appreciate that we're getting busy in a good way, helping customers and retailers, and also assisting other team members with their projects. My Selfie Trivia:
- My first overseas family trip was to Dubai in 2023.
- My very first solo overseas trip was to India in 2025.
- I haven't played golf yet, but I've been hit by a golf ball twice!
My BUCKET(Golf) list:
- Have a bucketgolf set 😁 (ehem... calling a sponsor.... *cough)

Alvaro Ortega
Product Lead Design and WH Manager
Born in a warehouse in Venezuela and raised by wild forklifts, Alvaro doesn’t design products—he whispers concepts into the void and the void whispers back in CAD drawings.
Alvaro doesn’t sleep—he enters a state of meditative innovation.
The last time he misplaced a product, it instantly became a best seller.
Some say the tape gun obeys only him, and cardboard folds itself out of respect.
His safety goggles see into the future, and his label printer prints only truth.
